Membership Benefits & Handbook
What makes our club membership special? Fun, great friendships, and rewarding experiences! We want you! We are always welcoming skaters of all ages and abilities.
- Our club season at the New Prague Area Community Center runs from September - March. During those months our skaters usually skate 2 - 3 times per week.
- We are unique in that members are invited to skate in our skater exhibitions as part of their club membership. Members may skate in a feature number as well as choreographed group numbers.
- Members have the opportunity to participate in a variety of specialized classes and skating clinics throughout the year.
- Club members also enjoy getting together off the ice for club outings to other skating events and special club get-togethers.
Club Communication
Members are kept informed of club activities through NPAFSC newsletter, our website, and emails. Members also receive "Skating," a USFSA publication. This magazine keeps our members informed on skating competitions and national skating news. You can also find club news and competition information on this website.
Family Involvement
Our club actively promotes skating by drawing on the enthusiasm, energy and talent from our members and our families. Through their partnership nominal fund raising and volunteer efforts, we are able to offset some of the ice rental costs. Parent involvement is necessary to the success of our club. Parents help by monitoring our club ice sessions, playing music, assisting skaters and volunteering in many ways for our ice shows.
