What is the Junior Club?

The Junior Club membership provides skaters in the Learn to Skate Program additional ice time and skating instruction to improve their skills. This program is ideally designed for skaters at the Basic 4 level and higher, although everyone is welcome.

Junior Club sessions are held on Saturday mornings from 7:00-8:00 am and Wednesday evenings from 6:20-7:05 pm. You may choose which sessions you wish to contract. During each contracted session, Junior Club members will receive 20 minutes of instruction from a coach/Jr. coach in a group and/or individual lesson. The remaining 20-40 minutes will be used for self-guided practice.

Junior Club membership allows skaters to “try out” the club by skating with more experienced skaters and enjoying the club atmosphere without all the obligations of membership and fundraising. Skaters are welcome to participate in the Spring Show for an additional fee.
